WORSE NEWS – HILLARY MAY WIN. The Clintons have marketed themselves to Jane and John Q. Public as people who can speak for the silent and moderate majority. Hillary has spent the last two decades creating the image that she represents the moderate political class. As the de facto DNC candidate, Hillary can use the primary elections to suck up to moderates, something that the GOP candidates probably won’t do. Hillary need only walk-across the DNC stage and she will win the nomination. With an added year to campaign to moderates, she may well win the general election.

Moderates are like fortune cookies, they don’t advertise their inner thought until you’ve cracked them open. In some instances, the moderates select the more conservative candidate. In others, moderates select the more liberal. While they seem whimsical, they are a crucial vote.

ON THE OTHER HAND, the GOP party platform is very clear. The GOP’s politically devout have the reasonable expectation that their chosen nominee will comport to the party platform. Some years the majority of moderates even vote for that platform! Regardless of the primary election, the GOP has one thing that Hillary lacks – integrity. Neither Clinton could argue that point very well. If all the moderates seek in 2016 is integrity, we will deliver, boys, we will deliver.

THE CHAIRMAN – riding an ass – has called a debate to settle the question.

RESOLVED: Ready for Hillary!

The Debate will be held on May 20, 2015, at the University Club, 420 Summit Avenue, in Saint Paul.
